Marketing automation based on marketplace conditions @ Lyft 


In this talk, we’ll describe how we dynamically adjust marketing budgets and bid targets across all major advertising platforms based on the forecasts of marketplace balance across all of our 350 (and growing) markets.


Growing distribution with Windows PWA @ Pinterest 


The PWA is an excellent way to grow your distribution. Pinterest used the PWA to grow distribution, increase engagement and reach out to Pinners where majority of them are on Windows. Learn about additional features offered by the Windows PWA that differentiates it with the web.

From 0 to 1000 — Robinhood’s first 6-month journey on Search Engine Optimization (SEO) 


In this talk we will share how Robinhood decided to start its growth initiative from scratch around SEO, how we developed “product-search-query fit”, some interesting engineering challenges and learnings there.

Lessons from Bundling Plans as an A/B Test @ Square

 

One of the more successful A/B tests performed at Weebly was an experiment to see whether customers would purchase service plans that came bundled with other services like a domain. This talk will go over the lessons we learned from that A/B test, including the challenges, the gotchas, and the benefits of the results, and how these lessons can be applied to other A/B tests.

Ajay Sampat is passionate about growth teams and strategies. Prior to Lyft, he started the SF office for Canadian startup TextNow and made it a top 30 Android app. Before that, he built the Growth eng team at KIXEYE managing multiple desktop & mobile games. He started his career at Hitachi working on supercomputers.

Patrick McGrath is a seasoned marketing and product management professional. Prior to Lyft, Patrick spent 3 years developing artificial intelligence applications for website and app optimization. Before that he was a product manager at Netflix developing marketing automation products. He started his career leading a marketing team at Speeddate which got acquired by Match.com.
